Make it a summer to remember!

Baffinland is committed to providing skills development and training opportunities in the North Baffin communities. As part of this commitment, for the first time in our history, we are implementing a summer internship program in the North Baffin communities and Iqaluit. We are currently looking for one summer intern to work with each of our North Baffin Baffinland Community Liaison Officers and our Northern Affairs team in Iqaluit. This includes one student in each of our offices below:

• Arctic Bay

• Clyde River

• Hall Beach

• Igloolik

• Iqaluit

• Pond Inlet

The role of the Northern Affairs Intern is to support the Northern Affairs Team in the conduct of daily duties, such as helping community residents apply to jobs with Baffinland, and other special projects as required. Our summer interns will also assist in the tracking of community feedback on Baffinland and the Mary River Mine, produce and distribute community-focused communications materials, and more. You will also help our Baffinland team to organize events in your home community.
