Baffinland conducting community meetings in the North Baffin communities

Since the start of the Mary River project, Baffinland has been committed to meeting with members of the North Baffin communities. We’ve held workshops, presentations, and meetings to provide updates on the project and work with community members to establish a way forward. We’ve had meaningful discussions with members of the communities to look at how the project is affecting them.

Our next round of community meetings will occur from November 21-25, 2016. These meetings will provide an update on the project, look at the results from our recent community surveys, and present some of the next steps for the development of the project. These meetings are open to all members of the community. Representatives from Baffinland will also be on hand to answer questions you may have about the project, our environmental work, what it’s like to work at Baffinland, and more.
